PROJECT FINAL REPORT
The project RI-MEN- Regional integration of Macedonian Evaluation Network (MEN) is builds on the experience gained in the process of formation of Western Balkan Evaluation Network and it aims at strengthening institutional capacity of MEN in a sustainable way with Transfer of knowledge and evaluation tools in broader perspective of evaluation of EU programs and projects; Exchange experience and best practices cooperation among VOCE\s in Balkan region; Promotion, mobilization and networking of evaluators in Macedonia and regionally; and Broadening VOPE’s links with stakeholders and policy makers in national government and city administration. Project will strengthen enabling environments for evaluation in Macedonia and WBEN in the following way:

Implementation period October 2014- March 2015 PROJECT FINAL REPORT Meeting in Belgrade 29 and 30/11/2014During the last weekend in November Webb Dowse hosted the regional meeting attended by the members of evaluation community from Slovenia, Macedonia and Serbia: PhD Risto Ivanov, PhD Zdenka Nikolovska, Bojan Radej, Mladen Momčilović, Ivan Tasić and Dragana Aleksić Matić.

Meeting&Workshop in Skopje,1-3.12.2014 In the period from 1 to 3 December 2014 two project activities were implemented aiming at promotion of project objectives in front of two target groups.
1. First one were 20 local and foreign institutions interested in application of various evaluation methodologies for their policy, programmes and projects. They were contacted with promo project letters while 7 of them schedules meetings for detail presentation of new approach in evaluation promoted by the project RI MEN. The visits objectives was promotion of evaluation as a tool for improvement of future operations of institutions, especially using a method of horizontal evaluation as quite new concept in the sphere of evaluation practice. 2. Second one were 30 evaluators who took part in one day workshops about horizontal evaluation. During the workshop the representatives form WBEN-Western Balkan Evaluation Network (Bojan Radej), ASMEP (Mladen Momčilović), Montenegro (Ljiljana Jovović) and MEN (Vatko Danilov) presented expected project results and agreed future activities within Western Balkan evaluators network. The participants expressed huge interest for building evaluation community as need for all WB Countries. The evaluators from all mentioned countries networks have also discussed future models for cooperation and possible future projects that can implement jointly and contribute to better visibility of the evaluator profession. The discussion was also about recognition of evaluators as separate occupation that need to be recognized by officials in the countries and what the shortest path for this recognition should be. The interest of the targets groups gave precious support to next project activities and some new ideas for project results sustainability was initiated. As well the few ideas for participation of WBEN with pilot project in front of foreign donors were discussed. Presentation 1/ RI MEN project 2/ Methodology for Horizontal evaluation |
